Aishwarya Nigam is an Indian singer. He is best known as a playback singer in Hindi films, particularly for films like Dabangg.He has received several awards for the song Munni Badnaam from Dabangg.He is a known name as he is the winner of Television music talent hunt, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and has sung a few numbers earlier too, the most prominent amongst them being "O Sikander" for Madhur Bhandarkar's Corporate.

Early life

He was born and brought up in a bihari family in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.Aishwarya Nigam belongs to Muzaffarpur, the birthplace of Lord Mahavira (Vaishali-Muzaffarpur) and land of luscious Leechees.He has done his schooling from the prestigeous school of Muzaffarpur i.e. Sun Shine Prep High School. His mother Mrs. Arti Ranjan works as lecturer in Mukherjee Seminary, Muzaffarpur while his father Mr. Mukesh Ranjan is a Manager in Punjab National Bank. .[1]

Career

Aishwarya Nigam participated in the Music competition "SaReGaMaPa Ek Main Aur Ek Tu" 2006 for Zee TV. Aishwarya Nigam and Ujjaini Mukherjee were declared the winners on June 24, 2006. Aishwarya Nigam was one of the contestants of Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar, a singing competition on Star Plus Channel. He represented the Champions team. He was eliminated on April 25, 2008. Aishwarya was one of the contestants of music competition show IPL Rockstar on Colors TV channel. He was among the top three finalists of IPL Rockstar.He is much inspired from Sonu Nigam that made him keep title as "Nigam". He has also sung the title Track of Kitani Mohabaat hai both seasons I and II, a daily soap on NDTV imagine. He has worked with renowned music directors like "Mr. Lalit Pandit, Mr. Anu Malik, Pritam, Sajid-Wajid, Shameer Tandon.
